When did you stop consuming alcohol ?

I had couple drinks with my mom night before I found out I was pregnant . I was so sad and nervous . I was probably 2-3 weeks pregnant.

How much you used to drink before the pregnancy and how it felt giving up .?

I stopped drinking when I found out. My husbands family owns liquor stores so I had my fair amount of consumption prior. Big tequila drinker. Doesn't bother me though.

I was on a girls weekend just before I found out I was pregnant with #4. My doc said it was fine.

I was drinking until i got my bfp at 4 weeks.. Could only drink half of my honeymoon!

I limited my drinking while TTC (4 months) and I had half a beer (probably less) for Super Bowl because it has been a major craving and I typically HATE beer. It was light beer so less alcohol and I drank a ton of water afterwards. Baby is 100% fine. I plan on having a glass of champagne on VDAY, a glass a wine on my BDAY and anniversary and maybe a glass here and there during my last 2 weeks to help with the pain and nerves (I usually start early labor 2 weeks prior and go through that till I finally progress. It's HORRIBLE!)

I gave up drinking the month we started TTC and we conceived the first month we tried! I didn't drink all that much maybe a glass or two a week, but I host events for a living so I have glasses of free wine shoved in my face on an almost weekly basis... giving up wine has been sucky. And brunch has never been the same!

I didn't find out I was pregnant till I was 8 weeks and I was getting almost black out drunk every night. Baby is so far perfectly healthy so I'm not worried about it. And I obviously stopped drinking after I found out I was pregnant, except a glass of champagne I had on New Years which my doctor said was perfectly fine.

Technically, 2 weeks pregnant is pre-conception so it shouldn't have had an affect. A drink or two shouldn't have given the baby any horrible problems, and if you didn't know, you didn't know. Women regularly find out they are pregnant and realize afterward that they had a few drinks before finding out. As long as you don't continue drinking, you should be fine.
