Who has had a false positive result for Down Syndrome

I have to go to take more test.. I can't believe I have to be worried and crying all the way til Monday. I'm gonna pray hard. When I was 18 with my first child I also got a false positive. She was a healthy baby!! I'm gonna stay positive.

My friends mum was told her twins were downs. She carried to term and had two healthy boys. They are now teenagers.

My friends mom got a false positive with her sister & she is a perfectly healthy preteen now!

They told my mom, I was spose to be mentally retarded and my sister was spose to have spinabifida. Both of us are perfectly fine.

My mother tested high for Down syndrome with me, but I was not, but tested high for Down syndrome with my brother and he was born with it. A close family friend also just tested high for Down syndrome, but her baby did not have it when born.

Before my last was born they told me she would most likely have it and did all these tests, turns out she had a very serious heart defect but no downs

I was told the same thing, took more tests, and find out the results tomorrow :/

Went through this last month and a detailed ultrasound showed a soft marker for downs which increased the odds again that he had downs. We opted for genetic bloodwork instead of amniocentesis and results came back negative ☺️
Don't stress! I know many people who have gone through the same thing, lots of false positives out there
