Twins ???

My dad has fraternal twins, nobody has twins in my family except for him not even on my mom's side so what are the chance of me having twins ?

Low, it doesn't matter if your dad has twins because the twin gene is on the mom's side.

I agree with Serenity. Fraternal twins are only hereditary on your mother's side. My dad was an identical twin, which is not at all hereditary. However, my mother has at least three sets of fraternal twins on her side of the family making my chances of having twins a little greater. No twins so far though.

Twins has to do with the woman's genes no matter what. Fraternal twins is two eggs being releases and fertilized at the same time. Identical twins is 1 egg releasing and being fertilized by 1 sperm but the cell splits into two babies because it's produces double the chromosomes. So it's all on the mom
