When did everyone stop waking baby up to eat at night?

My two week old is officially up to his birth weight and I've been waking him every 3-4 hours at night. Is it fine to let him sleep longer stretches yet? When did you mamas stop waking to feed?

Yep. I never woke my daughter to feed her. If she's hungry she'll eat.

I let my daughter eat when she wants. She was born a bigger baby (10lbs 3oz). She eats 6-8oz at a time.

I let my daughter sleep. She actually slept longer stretches in the beginning than she does now! She had herself in the habit of cluster feeding all evening and then sleeping a long stretch through the night (which I appreciated!).

Our pediatrician told us after DS was at birth weight again we could stop waking to feed. Unfortunately he kept the same schedule though, haha! Every 1.5-2 hrs he'd wake to eat. Now he's almost 6 weeks old and he sleeps 3 hours between feedings.

My son started sleeping the whole nite at three months he will be four mounths on the #28 but at two weeks she her every two -three hours feeding. That's my option 😘💁🏽🍼soon mama lol

My guy started sleeping 7-9 hours at night just before 2 mo. It was heavenly. I would feed him just before or as he fell asleep. My pediatrician said its fine for him to go that long and he'll wake up if he's hungry. My biggest issue was, and still is, waking up engorged every morning. But the rest is worth the discomfort.

I stopped doing it when she turned about a month and a half. Maybe I waited too long.

My baby is a week old and he gained weight good right after off the bat so I felt comfortable with doing demand feedings from 10pm-9am. I feed every 2-2.5 hours outside of that time frame. He seems to sleep longer and have more productive feeding sessions doing on demand at night.
