Irregular?

Is it normal for periods to be irregular the first year or so, mine have been sorta irregular and my cycle is only like 24 days and my periods last like 8 days. Is something wrong or is this fine since I first started my period 4 or 5 months ago?

Don't worry your period is normally irregular for about 2 years before it starts to fall into place

I am 25 have had my period since I was 12 and mine have always been irregular except when I was on BC , makes planning and being prepared hard but I wouldn't stress about it. If you are very concerned ask your dr.
