Is it only me or is love a weird word , I can only say it if I don't mean it but when I do mean I feel really weird is that just me

I know what you mean, to my partner it's the easiest thing to say, to my friends it's gotta be said quickly and rarely, and to my parents and for my parents to me that really doesn't happen! It's just the way I was raised I think! To feel the love, but to feel awkward when it's time to express it! It's okay, I think.

I feel you. Like I have no problem saying I love to my friends or anything but it took me and my boyfriend 2 months just to say I love you to each other. Which was weird because I knew I loved him and he knew he loved me, but I just felt weird saying it so I made him wait.
