Delivering at 37 weeks!
Hi all! So i just came back from the doctor, and im left with mixed feelings. Im both happy and sad at the same time. The doctor said that since my baby is still small, we will still have to deliver him soon, instead of keeping him longer until natural labor.
However, we can now keep him for another week until he is full term at 37 weeks instead of delivering him when he is still premature at 36 weeks. Ofcourse i am heartbroken that i cannot give birth to him the "normal" way, and i can most probably never get the chance to feel what its like to have vaginal birth in the next pregnancies, i just keep in mind that its for my baby's safety and i would never compromise that.
On the much brighter side, atleast i get to see him sooner! Will be setting the date for my c-section on the next doctor's appointment on tuesday, the 16th. Wish me luck all! 😇❤️
