You ABSOLUTELY can!! Some women will use breast shells in late pregnancy to try and pull the out a bit. You just wear the in your bra. And then there's all kinds of tools and positions tricks to make latching easier! Ultimately it's breastfeeding and not nipple feeding so the key is to get a deep latch with lots of breast tissue. If you have access to a lactation consultant I would highly recommend a prenatal consult! Just for information and preparation :)

Yes, my mother in law said she breast fed both her daughter and my husband and she had inverted nipples. A nipple shield will help if you have any problems.
