Did testing revealed your baby had Down syndrome but was born perfectly fine?

My genetic counselor told me of the 5% of people who come back as high risk, only 1-2% of those babies actually have downs. That's why it's a screening not a diagnostic test.

When my mom was pregnant with me they did an amniocentesis which came back positive for downs but I am 100% healthy :)

I voted yes, but it wasn't for me because I always refuse the test. I have a good friend that happened to.

Both of my sister's were supposed to be down syndrome. My oldest step daughters was too. The doctors get it wrong sometimes.
