Weight and relationships

I'm at that point in my relationship where I'm way too comfortable so I eat whatever I feel like eating  and I feel like I'm getting bigger because of it. My boyfriend told me he doesn't think I've changed at all when I told him I thought I was getting fat but I think I am. Is there anyway to get around the whole weight gaining because comfortable thing and does anyone know any good ways to lose weight? I'm a vegetarians but I usually eat mostly meatless pastas and pizza
