How much clothes should i buy my new born baby?

Im 18 weeks pregnant and soon will begin to buy baby things but im curious? How much clothes should i buy or what sizes should i start of with? I heard baby tend to grow super fast!

Shoot for 3mo+. Most babies grow out of newborn very very quickly. The same goes with newborn diapers, you really only need a pack of those. When you pack your hospital bag you want to back maybe 1 or 2 newborn outfits/onesies and 1 or 2 0-3mo in case you have a larger baby. So definitely get a few newborns but focus on 3+

I bought all my daughters clothes at Once Upon A Child. Meaning every Onesie was only a dollar or two. And every bodysuit was 3 dollars to 5. So because I saved hundreds of dollars on clothes I splurged a little and ended up having 20 NB onesies, 9 NB pants & 10 NB bodysuits. Plus a couple outfits and gowns for sleeping. I also have the same amount for 3 months (maybe a tad more) and will buy more as I see need be. I know she will grow out of her NB outfits pretty quick but when they're cute and they're cheap you can't help it lol.

I have 6 body suits, 6 stretch and grows, a couple of singlets, booties, a hat, 3 pairs of pants, socks all for new born then like the same for 0-3 and 3-6 and a lot of stuff for 6-9 cause they were having a massive summer sale

I only got about 2 or 3 (0-3 month) things, I mainly
Aimed for 3-6 &6-9 I got a lot onesies and   sleepers because that's mostly what she'll be in when she's small. I did get some outfits but mainly starting at 3 months.

When my cousin got pregnant she was told to get about 5 of every clothing, 5 baby grow, 5 vests 5 bibs etc not sure what size
