Tampons??

Question

What is a good age to start using tampons? I'm 14.

I got my first period on family vacation and My sister only used tampons and there was no store for hours. Quite the adventure so I used a tampon on my first period.

I used them for my 5th period at 12. Whatever age you want to use them. There is no age limit for them, I'm younger than you and love them!

I'm 14 and on my 3rd period. I am really active with sports (I'm a state rower, play water polo, go to the gym a lot and run a lot) and I had a water polo game on my period and I couldn't miss it so I decided to try it and I haven't turned back. I feel as though I'm wearing a diper when I wear pads but I also have a regular flow and I fill up after 5 hours

My mom was extremely against me using tampons when I was young. And it's your choice! If you're in school and want to feel extra protected tampons are great, especially if your flow is heavy. If you're like regular or light and don't even fill up a pad then I'd say pads are a good choice. They are also great so you remember to change it! If you wear a tampon just don't forget it's up there.. believe me it happens haha
