I find it hard when my boyfriend and I are with my family. He goes from being the chatty, fun and energetic man I know him to be, to quiet and reserved. I would like them all to get to know each other better but it feels so forced/arranged when we decide to have a meal together or something similar. I'd love to know when he's not himself when we are with them.
