31 weeks and having brown mucus like spotting

Sorry for tmi, but I'm 31 weeks and 5 days and having this weird brown mucus like spotting only when I wipe, I went to the dr just on Tuesday and she said that nothing is wrong as far as my cervix I wasn't bleeding from my cervix it was closed and still is as far as I know. Does anyone have any advice? Or anything? Has this happened to you? If it has what was the outcome?
