Ways to help dilate ?!

Question

I'm 38+3 and I'm 80% effaced and only a fingertip dilated. Any ways to help dilate ?! I'd love to go next week to my apt and be like 2-3cm. I really really want to go into labor on my own and not have to be induced

There really is no way to help you dialate. Being ephased is much more important than being dialated. You being at 80% is great.

Honestly my doctor told me that of all those things like pineapple and bouncing on a ball and walking, castor oil actually worked, he would have written a book on it by now and be on an island drinking some cold drinks...he said best thing to really do is have sex. Let the semen sit in there for a couple minutes before using the restroom or cleaning up because the semen works that cervix.

I've been at the same dilation and effacement since 36+2 and I'm 39+2 today!! I totally feel your pain! Haha and he's even dropped!! Hopefully our little ones come soon
