Missing my ex(friend)

I've been in a relationship with my SO for 7yrs. Its been a true challenge given to how damaged we both were from past relationships but we've learn to better each other. Before him tho I had a male "best friend"... I wanted him so I took the bf title. Once I gotten into the relationship my SO wanted me to cut him(my bf) so I did. But now, well recently I've been missing him. Juss like the conversation wit him. He always told it me any and everything straight and he kept me laughing. I'm in love with my SO like I see us going the distance but I love and every now and then miss my bf. Is that wrong. In some form am I cheating on my SO emotionally 😥😥
