When did you finally feel the "bond" with baby?

This is our first, and both of us are over the moon. I was off birth control for four years so needless to say it was stressful for a while. Finally we get to welcome our baby boy Konnor into the world in July!

I'm almost seventeen weeks and while I know I will love and adore my baby, I'm still wondering if I should already be feeling that motherly, "I would do anything for you, you are the apple of my eye, I would do anything to protect you, you are the most important person to me now" thing. I hear when a woman gets pregnant, it's natural to feel that way. Is it wrong that I still think of him as a fetus that just isn't born yet? How far were you when you felt that overwhelming love for the baby? Still pregnant or after they were born?
