Went to see my midwife today and I'm having some issues with swelling and headaches. She is rechecking me for preeclampsia and said that she wants me to have the baby before 39 weeks. I'll be 38 weeks on Wednesday. So she checked me today and I'm 3cm 75% thinned she went ahead and stripped my membrane hoping to get things going! This is my second baby and was wondering if anyone has had theirs striped and how long after they went into labor? She said if I don't have the baby this weekend then Monday she is stripping my membrane again.
