Fibroids and bleeding during delivery (vaginally & caesarean)
Anyone else dealing with these concerns? I was originally scheduled for a repeat c-section March 2 but after another ultrasound yesterday my doctor thinks that trial labor & VBAC will be better based on the location and size of the fibroid (almost right where the incision will be made).
Of course I want to do whatever is safest and will now be planning on trial labor but I am just SO worried now about excessive bleeding in either of these scenarios. He said that I would definitely need a transfusion during a c-section. I am hoping for reassurance mostly and if anyone has experience with fibroids or excessive bleeding during childbirth I'd love to hear your story. Thank you!
