What do you do when you're cramping hard?

I just really had to ask this, so my manager and I got into it the other day because on the first day of my period I always call off work due to my horrible cramps. She told me that is just crazy that I do that every month,I need to find a way to overcome that and go to work sometimes.

If your cramps are bad enough for you to take a day off work I would discuss it with your doctor.

Definitely speak with your doctor, if you need to take a day off work or school due to the severity of your cramps, there is a problem worth investigating.
Birth control pills worked for me to reduce cramps, I started them when I was 13, very low dose hormones, but it was the only thing that was effective.

I would either get a stick on or wrap around heating pad, take an ibuprofen or midol, and take a hot bath.

Birth control pills. They saved my life once I started getting the cramps from hell. The pain was so severe I couldn't walk, talk or think straight and NOTHING helped. But the pill made my cycles instantly shorter, lighter and pain free. I highly recommend it

have my boyfriend rub my tummy. it really sounds corny & I know it's all in my head but it does help me 😇
