Yesterday morning at 830 am I went to the perinatal center for my weekly fetal monitoring and had another growth scan. I've been getting one every 2 weeks for the last 2 trimesters, and yesterday we found out that the baby had not grown more then 2 ounces in the past 2 weeks. So I was advised to head over to L&D. Came in and got plugged into all the monitors and IV, and my daughter was delivered via cesarean at 4:44pm. Born at 37 weeks, 4 days, weighing 4 pounds, 12 ounces. 5 ounces greater then her estimated weight. I was excited about meeting my princess to say the least, but it was definitely not expected the day before her brothers 3rd birthday. We'll be celebrating with cake an ice cream in the hospital later on ! 😊
