Prodromal labor?

I'm 36 weeks pregnant, and this is day #5 of contractions for me... Still no cervical change.. Someone, take this pain away! Anyone else have this? If so... How long until you went into actual labor or until it stopped? I can't do it anymore.

Today makes 3 weeks and 1 day of this painful crap and I'm so over it I'm 37+ 4 and doc still isn't doing anything to either ease the pain or move labor along and I've been trying everything to get it moving but nothing is working gl on getting through because it becomes miserable after two straight weeks

I was literally just reading about this online because I'm so miserable!!  I'm 36 weeks and have had this for over a week now.  I had 2 good days where I only had light cramps and BH but today it's been hours and hours of intense back labor and irregular contractions.  Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night with contractions 8 minutes apart for a few hours and then they go away.  I had none of this with my first.  I'll wait for answers with you!!!

I've been having contractions on average every 20-30m for a week!! Sometimes they're 2/5/7/10m apart and it's miserable. Saw dr yesterday and I'm still at 1-2cm. She said there really isn't anything to do since I'm almost 35wks they just let it run its course.

I had prodromal labor for weeks with my last baby. It sucked. He was late and needed and induction because we were almost to 42 weeks😞 Hope the real deal starts soon my dear.

Ugh, I'm 37 weeks today and have been having this since 34 weeks. It's worse at night, and I can't stand or do Anything without setting contractions off: sleeping, walking, showering, cleaning. At 36 weeks my doc said I'm 2cm dilated and 60% effaced. She also said there's nothing she can do. Didn't put me on bed rest or anything, which is kind of good because lying down kills my hips.

Hopefully by the time baby gets here I'll be pretty numb to contraction pain after all this. In the meantime day-to-day life is difficult. I'm cooking and cleaning less and take ages to walk across the store.

2 weeks so far. This is my third baby and the second child I've had this issue. It makes you feel crazy after a while. I hope this little bug will make his debut in a week or so
