Very worried

I am 5 weeks and 2 days today. The past three days I have had heavy bleeding and very mild cramps. I have herd this can be normal but have also herd it could be bad. I have already called my Dr they took blood to check my HCG levels but I won't know them till Monday and I am a nervous wreck. Have any of you had this before?
