Bleeding after using a dildo

So I have recently started the combined pill and I have a week left to go before my period is supposed to come and I stop taking them. However, after I used my dildo, I went to the bathroom and noticed blood, and it's bright red...I've been getting cramps also, but could this just be my body adjusting to the pill as it takes 3 months to do that? Or have I somehow damaged something down there? It's not heavy enough for a proper period, but too heavy for spotting...I'm obviously putting a tampon in and when I take it out the blood is only on one side in a straight line, kind of where it would have been facing the top wall of my vagina... It's not soaked through, but has been bleeding for the past 8 hours and isn't increasing not decreasing it's flow...should I be concerned? Have I done something to myself? This isn't the first time I've used a dildo either so it can't be because of that. I am a virgin, but my hymen broke when I was younger when I did the splits and I've been putting things in me and my fingers for a few years so I know it's not that...the past few months every week before my period when I've played with myself and inserted something in, I've bled before, but not this much nor this long, but then again, I wasn't on the pill. My friends are saying it could be the pill and my body just getting used to it as their period came a week early when they first started the pill, but idk, should I be concerned? If not when should I get concerned? Do you think it's my body adjusting to the pill or do you think I have somehow made myself raw in there from the dildo? Should I keep using a tampon or should I use a liner? Please help me ladies! I'm very concerned and I do not like telling people I play with myself so talking to my friends about the dildo part and telling my doctor that, are out of the question...
