How did you know you were having an ectopic pregnancy? What symptoms should I look out for??

Mine wasn't the side pains ectopic is associated with. My ectopic happened in August 2015. I was 6 weeks 5 days when I started getting horrible gas pains. Nothing I did relieved it. Next day when to doc for an ultrasound appointment and she couldn't find my uterus because of al the gas in the way. Anyways went for official ultrasound when it discovered it was ectopic in right tube. My pain was horrible gas pains in my back, plus spotting here and there.

I had no symptoms. If you are concerned insist on scan. If nothing can be seen make sure they monitor you closely. I almost died because mine was missed by several people until I insisted on a private scan and the ectopic was found in my left tube almost rupturing.

I had an ectopic pregnancy in 2014 I was 6 weeks and one day I was having sharp pain in my right side of my stomach I curled up on the couch and after about 2 days of that pain I knew something was wrong I wasn't bleeding so I didn't know so I went to er and found out I was pregnant with twins and they were in my right tube and it was about to rupture::(( so I had surgery to remove the baby and my right tube:::((( I was devastated because we had been trying for 3 years & I happy to say I am 10 weeks pregnant after 5 years!!!# I hope everything okay for you!!!

I felt uncomfortable the day before I found out, like no matter how I sat I just couldn't get comfortable and the very next morning I had extreme pain on my right side to the point I was crying and doubled over. Pain on one side is a major sign and you need to see a dr immediately. I know there can be bleeding and a fever as well. If you think you have an ectopic don't wait. Its very serious and if your tube bursts you could bleed internally.

It will hurt like hell on one side.. usually accompanied with vomiting.. fainting and a fever.
