I gave birth to my beautiful angel on Thursday the 11th of February at 00:57am.
She weighed 3.5kg and was 54cm long.
My water broke at 9:04am on Wednesday morning, it was a gush of water followed by more and more water pouring. I went into Newham hospital in London and the nurses checked that it was amniotic fluid, I had started contracting but they were not regular yet, within In hour I was having contractions 3 in a hour I went back to the nurses who did checked and said I was not dilating and to go home following they had booked me in for an induction on Friday morning at 9am.
I went home, the contractions worsened aswell as the pain, I called the midwife and explained the situation she told me to go back to hospital immediately as the contractions were about a minute and a half a part. The nurses checked me at the hospital again and I was 2 to 3 million dilated in an hour since I was at the hospital. They booked me in to the ward to keep me over night to check on me, by the time I got downstairs and comfortable the contractions were unbearable and the pain was more then I could take I was given gas to help, the next nurse checked me 4 hours from being dilated and she could feel I was almost at 8cm and could feel the babies head. I was rushed upstairs to the delivery ward and by the time I got upstairs into the room and befor I could ask for an epidural I told the nurse I need to push. She checked and I was completely dilated and the babies head was engaged and ready.
I started pushing and within an hour of active labour she made her way into the world. My husband was an angel and kept me going the whole time. She was worth the 16 hours of labour completely and I do not regret the decision my midwife made by telling me to do it natural although I had no choice as you can read she pushed for me to do it natural and without drugs and for that I am grateful. I was in control despite screaming the entire hospital down and the exhaustation to cause me to faint. I knew when I was pushing and I knew what was happening.
Once I delivered the placenta, they checked for tearing which I came away with scout free not one tear at all, I did however loose slot of blood but I am fine and managed to not have to have s blood transfusion.
I hope you read my story and if you are ever in this situation to do what I did and not always listen to the doctors or midwifes and go with your body and what it's telling you to do, if I had listedbec to them I would have gone into labour at home not being the wider as my angel is my first baby so women feel embarrassed to go with there gut.
Please let me introduce to you for those that made it to the end of my essay my little girl Scarlett Elizabeth Metior. The love of my life❤️❤️
