So this be a stupid question but I have no idea what a fertile window means can someone please explain like I've never had a talk with my mom about this and I'm really confused so can someone please help? Also does that happen after or before 😩😭

Example of my cycle:

Day 1: start of my period 
Day 5: end of my period
Day 12: beginning of my fertile window
Day 17: end of my fertile window
Day 29: start of my next period, and the start of a new cycle.

Somewhere between day 12 and 17, I released an egg. During those 5 days, there's a 27-33% chance of conceiving. An egg is only viable for 12-24 hours, after than chances of conception for the rest of that cycle are almost zero. Sperm can (not always) last up to 5 days, so if you're having unprotected sex on day 10, but you don't ovulate til day 14, there's still a chance you could get pregnant.

It's basically the time of the month when your ovulating.  Tracking your fertility window is a birth control method and can also be helpful if you're trying to conceive.  Your fertility window is the time of the month you are most likely to get pregnant.
