At 35 weeks 6 days, my water broke at home (2/13/2016) around 6:00 pm. Got cleaned up, grabbed our bags and headed to the hospital, arrived around 6:30 pm. The nurses didn't believe my water had broke. They suggested I had either peed myself or had a lot of vaginal discharge. Which was really ridiculously, this is my 3rd baby, I KNOW my water had broke and was in labor. Contractions were 3-4 minutes apart and getting stronger. They kept me in triage for 3 hours acting like they might send me home. I told my hubby "no way am I going home."  Checked me again and went from 2 to 4 dilated. So they finally admitted me at 9:30 pm. Labor progressed really fast (which I had warned the staff happens with me). On call doctor was driving in, but didn't make it.  The nurse wound up delivering the baby at 10:30 pm last night. Doctor came in about 15 min after baby boy was born. No epidural. Not because I didn't ask for one, but because it just went too fast to get one. Baby Broderick is doing great
