Warning about angel care monitor

I love my angel care monitor and it's the only reason I can sleep without checking on her 100 times. But it's so important to always test it especially if you use fans or air purifiers as they can trigger the sensor. I keep an air purifier in the room but I moved it closer to the crib yesterday and forgot to test it. Tonight I picked up my daughter out of the crib and the monitor didn't alarm. I just kept ticking as if picking up her breathing. When I turned the air purifier off it finally alarmed. If she had stopped breathing, the air purifier would have prevented the monitor from alarming.

I do still like the monitor but now I know it can give you a false sense of security. I'll remember now to test it periodically or when I move things in the room.

Just wanted to share with others who use it because it really scared me when I realized!
