Telling My Mom
My significant other and I have been together for a year and ten months. We have been getting closer to one another, slowly becoming more sexually active as time goes on. Well, a few months ago we decided to both have sex. Now, this is no problem for me and I feel completely comfortable with him.
But...my mom. Lately, she has been constantly making remarks telling me she is so proud to have a daughter that isn't having sex at my age (16) , that she's glad I'm not being a "slut".
I don't want to lie to her...but at the same time I don't want her to shame me or not trust my boyfriend and I 'being alone'.
What should I do..?
Even if I were to say something...what would I say..?
