Went for my first ultrasound today 7w4 days only to find out the heartbeat was at 65bpm OB says to expect to Misscarriage but question is there any hope of it surviving if not how Long untill I start to bleed and how painful will it be as I have a almost 2 year old and I don't want to be incapable of looking after her with pain as I live alone with her someone please answer ?

Im so sorry honey. There's no telling how long it will take. When I went in for my 8w ultrasound, there was no heartbeat and the baby had died. At my 6w appointment, everything was fine and heard the heartbeat. According to the ultrasound, my baby had been gone for a week and I didn't even know. I had no bleeding and no cramps. I went another week after finding out and still no bleeding or cramps so they had me have a D&C, since my body didn't seem to know the baby was gone.

My boss has had 4 miscarriages and said that each one was different. She said it can take weeks to go through the whole process. The pain can vary from period like pain all the way to feeling like labor pain.
