I started bleeding yesterday, 5 days earlier than I was expected to start. My cycle hasn't always been the most consistent so I didn't think anything of it.

Usually my period starts with the full force of an angry goddess - Heavy flow and very heavy cramps that make me beg someone to shoot me.

So yesterday, I got the cramps with full force (although they lasted a lot shorter than usual, they still lasted a pretty long time) However, hardly any blood. When I urinate it's red, when I wipe there's quite a bit of pinkish blood, but 24 hours have passed and all my pads have had barely any blood on them.

I've looked up implantation bleeding, but it can't be that since my cramps were very intense and I think I'm bleeding a little bit more than what's considered 'spotting'. Plus 3 pregnancy tests have resulted negative.

So what's going on? Can it be normal for someone who normally has a very heavy flow to start having very light ones?
