Tipping

If you get bad service at a restaurant do you still tip? The last 2 times I went out I had horrible service. At the first one our appetizer got to us after we were almost done with our meal this was after 2 reminders. At the second place I had to get up and find napkins, silverware and straws. Neither place was very busy. I still tipped but a lot less then normal.

In the first situation the waiter never even noticed we hadn't received our appetizer. It was a manager that stopped by our table and asked how we were doing.

If you do leave a lower then normal tip would you leave a note explaining why???
