I've never had the urge to buy a gun prior to having a baby, but after having my daughter I have the urge to want to protect her. I don't really like the idea of having a gun, but I think the world these days is so crazy and I want to be equipped to take care of her if necessary. I'm not trying to make this super political, but what are your thoughts on my rationale for wanting one? Is it just new mommy protectiveness or is there some validity to this? Genuinely curious.
