PCOS/TTC/Help
Hello!
My name is Ashley. I am new to this group, this is my first post, & I'm excited to read everyone's post as well.
I am from Kentucky. 21 years old. I have been with my fiancé for 5 years this coming October. We are now trying to conceive.
I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 18. I do not have a period unless I take Metformin & birth control. This past August my period never came & when I went to my doctor she said sometimes ladies with PCOS have nothing to shed, keep taking my meds. I got discouraged, stopped for a few months, & as of Thanksgiving I am working my way back up to the 1,500mg Metformin.
I first want to ask if anyone else gets extremely sick from this? The worst diarrhea I have ever had in my life, on top of nausea.
Anyways, I guess my question is has anyone had any success getting pregnant with PCOS? I know many people do, but the last 3 years we've used no protection & each month is a BFN.
I am grateful for any success stories you share & any tips or other medicines that have worked. Many have mentioned Geritol, but I have not tried it yet.
