Highlighting/ Coloring hair during pregnancy

Hi all, I'm currently 7 weeks pregnant. I have a hair appointment today for highlights and a cut. This is my first and of course I research and worry about everything I do. I'll be visiting family in Texas soon and want my hair to look nice. Right now it's an ugly brown with my ashy blonde natural coming through. I haven't found any evidence to support that it could potentially harm the baby. If anything it seems it would only make me nauseous due to the smell. I am going to a professional salon and they know I'm pregnant. I'm looking for some insight from ladies who have colored/ highlighted their hair during pregnancy or from ladies who worked in a salon while pregnant. Thanks ahead of time!
