Did anybody go against the doctor's advice and ttc right away

Not intentionally :/ lol we used condoms but here we are 28w later. Got pregnant 2w after my emergency D&C. We saw two OBs and both said most doctors will tell women to wait 3 months but usually they say that so women can psychologically cope with the loss. They told us (when we were trying for baby to pass naturally) just to wait a month so they'd be able to date the pregnancy. It had nothing to do with the lining etc like a lot of people are told. After my surgery we were told to wait three months for my hemoglobin to return to normal as I  almost bled to death. After 8w when we found out I was preg again the doctor told me not to worry and that women who conceived shortly after their MC actually had a reduced chance of a subsequent MC than those who waited more than six months to conceive again. Check it out there are some great studies that have been done.

The only this is you will have to have dating ultrasounds and a bit of bloodwork in the beginning which is quite stressful and brough back a lot  of scary memories for us. But you do get through it.

I had taken 3 rounds of clomid before my MC in July so when I had unprotected sex in August I would have never guessed I would have fallen pregnant again.  I had actually purchased my clomid RX the day before I felt implantation and got my first signs of a bfp.  
I'm currently 29wks  ( 7yrs of infertility)

My dr said to wait one cycle n im def gonna wait one cycle just had a d&e on Friday. I think my body needs a rest I would hate for it to happen again :(

Also following. Just had unprotected sex and my loss was quite recent. I'm still bleeding so I highly doubt I even could get pg again so soon (just over a month). But I realized immediately that although I do want to get pregnant again it isn't the right time and I'm still mourning my daughter. But I'd like to hear what other people are doing!

We had unprotected sex but I don't think I ovulated the cycle after. I just had my first period so we are now officially trying again. I am glad we waited before jumping into full ttc mode again. It seems like forever but the time passes faster than you think.

We waited one full cycle before trying. Tried for 2 cycles and got pregnant but miscarried very early on. Not saying it was too early, but please just listen to your doctor. If you don't wait and you miscarry again will you be able to live with that? I think I would always wonder if I should have waited. But, ultimately, it is no one's decision but yours.

I see many saying that they started right away but my doctor told me to wait three cycles and six weeks to have sex. I am going to listen because as I am recovering I'm going to take multivitamins so my body can be prepared again to hold another baby I don't want to rush into it and have another miscarriage
