How to deal with major mental illness in the family ?

Speaking on behalf of my dad he is a father who has a mash up on multiple mental illnesses, is it time to send him to a new place to live in ? It's extremely hard on the family..

Close to impossible to handle

Get him into counselling, find a good medication for him, get him seeing a psychiatrist

My mom has several major mental illnesses. Most of the time I hear how everything is my fault and she never takes responsibility for herself. After my dad passed away she sent me an email saying my attitude is crappy and she's not putting up with it..well excuse me I don't want to talk to anyone because my dad just died....idk we didn't talk for several months and it was hard. I felt abandoned and orphaned. She also had a mental break down before I got married she said it was my fault as well. She said the only reason why she was coming to the wedding was because she already bought her dress. I had my first ever panic attack then and I could not calm myself down. I ended up being diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. My relationship with my mom is ok at the moment, I'm unfortunately waiting for when "I" do something wrong again. It's very hard to keep the peace and I talk to her husband every now and then and he assures me that he's got it handled now.
