I have a question. Okay, i get cold sores, havent had one in a good while, now for some odd reason, i got one monday morning. Sunday night, my bf and i had sex and we both gave each other oral sex. Now, since we gave oral sex, and i got a cold sore, that obviously means i was active, but didnt have a bump til the next morning, but since i was active, can he get the type 2 herpes ? Or both of us. I did have any symptoms til the next day after we already had sex. I know you dont need to have a break out to give them the herpes down there but im guessing i was active. I think i got the cold sore tho from using my dads chap stick because cold sores run in the family. Idk. Im kind of scared for the both of us. Especially him because he flipped out when i said it wad a cold sore because hes never got them i was trying to tell him that cold sores are a form of herpes but everyone gets them. Well about everyone that its actually normal since we all pretty much have the virus in us.
