My bf of 3 years joined the army last year and did basic over the summer at ft. Jackson. We're 18 and 19 and seniors in highschool so he has job training over the summer to be a weapons specialist. He keeps changing his mind about doing active or reserves and I'm really nervous about him choosing active because we're talking about moving in together and getting married soon. I don't know much about the military and the thought of him being active duty and being away really makes me nervous and I've told him I don't want him to be in danger and in active but we're still talking about it I'm going to be supportive of what ever he ends up choosing 100%. Who els is going through anything similar to this situation?
