Too old to be flower girl?

My little sister will be turning 8 at the end of August.. Idk when the wedding will be but it will be sometime between May-November (I know, big time span).. Is a 7 or 8 year old girl too old to be a flower girl? Should I just make her a junior bridesmaid or not have her in the wedding party at all?

My cousin asked me to be their flower girl when I was 13. I thought I was too old, but my mom jumped in and told them I would do it. 
I think 7-8 is a perfect age...not too little to be unsure of what going on, but old enough to enjoy getting pretty and to know how special that role is!

My niece was 8 when I asked her to be my flower girl and she said no she wanted to be. Jr bridesmaid lol she is pretty tall tho so that makes her like older. She was intact taller than 3 or my bridesmaids lmao

So I think ask her and if she makes a weird face like she's too old then make her a jr

I think 8 is a great age for a flower girl. I feel like they keep getting younger which is cute.. But when they are old enough to take orders and behave the better lol
