you have to pee after sex in order to prevent UTI's?

Edit: I get how all is, let's say, in "the same area" but how does bacteria get in your urethra if the vaginal track is a different system?

After answers: So I guess is recommended to guys to do so too, no?

Because the friction from sex or any touching down there are all can push bacteria up into your urethra. It the same reason why you should wipe front to back.

The urethra is very close to your vaginal entrance. Chances are that fluids or penis/finger/"genital pooch" skin is going to get near  your urethra.

UTIs are actually pretty rare for younger men, usually men dont get them till after their 50s. Not saying they cant but its rare. Its harder for the bacteria to get into their urinary systems. Also when a man has an erection there is a "flap" that blocks his urinary system, so that sperm can come out. Thats why it is very hard for a man to pee if he has an erection. If he wears a condom his urethra is protected, if he wasn't when he ejaculates anything that would have maybe gotten in would be cleared out when  the semen comes out. So its not a bad idea for men to pee after sex, its just not as important as it is for women.

Men have longer urethras and that's why they don't get UTIs as frequently. Don't most guys pee and clean up when they're done?
