Question for you mommas

I am getting ready to get the nursery going. But I have one question I have to paint. I don't know if I should help paint it or not. I really want to be a part of it coming together and being done the way I want it to be. But not sure if I should be around paint or not? I planned on wearing a mask and having a long sleeve shirt and gloves on and having the window open and a fan going but I don't want to risk anything. Please let me know your opinions!! Thanks.
