What is mo/di twins and do/di twins??

I have seen that a few times. We just found out a couple days ago we are having twins!!! I am shocked!!!  This is my third pregnancy and my husband and I decided to try for ONE more. lol I am trying to be as prepared as possible since a twin pregnancy is new to me!

They are talking about the number of sacs and placentas. Mono means 1 and di means 2. My twins were di/di they each had their own sac and placenta. It's the same for triplets as well except there can be tri, which means 3.
