Hi Ladies

Im really scare,every morning when i wake up i can barely hold anything my fingers hurt soo much its bad, i cant even open a bottle of water or Type a text it hurts, are any of you experincing something similar? im 29weeks and 4 days pregnant.

I have it too. The doc said its a result of swelling and pressure in your actual carpal tunnel. He said it will go away after the baby is born and the best thing to do is sleep with a brace.

it is carpal tunnel syndrome. I have it bad also. has it with my previous pregnancy and I have it now. even on my feet. do hands exercise immediately when you wake up. stretch your fingers.

Sounds like carpal tunnel to me! I started having that problem around 31 weeks. Doc says I just have to deal with it and not to lift anything hot or heavy so I don't risk dropping it. He says it should get better within a month or so after having the baby. Mine is so bad I wake up multiple times a night and can't go back to sleep until I can wake my hands up because it becomes so painful.

It can be treated with B6 - just check how much is in your prenatal and how much extra that allows you to take. It can also be due to excess fluid causing swelling so make sure you're electrolytes are in balance :)
