help on depo ?? what is this ?

I just started the depo shot a week ago , on the second day of my period , it ended Tuesday , but then this happened ???? what is going on ?

I was on depo for years . Depo is a solely progesterone based birth control, there's no estrogen . Estrogen is the hormone that builds up the uterine wall lining for you to "shed" at the end of your cycle (your period) . Therefore you shouldn't have a period on depo. I didn't have a period for 2 years. It was great but also it sucked because I haven't had a normal one since. I would definitely see your doctor if that continues, I never had anything like that but chances are it's just your body getting rid of anything that WAS in there to clean it out.
