We had our baby shower last weekend and it was lots of fun. My in laws haven't really been involved but not for my lack of trying. My mother in law did come to the shower and I was actually shocked to see her. But now she is freaking out at my husband because my grandma had done a short face time during the shower and we showed her the nursery via phone. She is upset we didn't do the same for my husbands grandparents! But it was my grandmas idea because she wanted to see me open the gift she had sent. Now my husband is moping about because he let his mom make him feel like shit. She said we are purposely excluding his family...or more directly, I am. What the hell am I supposed to do? We live in Utah and both of our extended families live on the east coast. I sent courtesy invitations to the shower knowing they couldn't make it. But how do I include someone across the country? Ugggghhhhh
