40 weeks and no sign of labor?

I'm 40 weeks and 1 day with no baby as well and no sign of going into labor anytime soon. I'm not really concerned as much as I am anxious because I'm ready to meet my child. It's like a child on Christmas Day but your parents told you they didn't have the money to get you gifts so you have to wait until their next pay day - DISAPPOINTING

I'm 40 weeks 3 days today with my second baby and first I have to say it's so nice to have you women in the same boat with me. Sometimes it gets a little deflating to see all of the posts about women having their babies so early when I feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever. Lol! When I was checked Tuesday I was 3cm dilated 30% effaced and baby was at a -2 station. I have been having a lot of Braxton Hicks but they lead nowhere. I have an induction scheduled for Tuesday at 7:30am. I was 3 days late with my first baby I'm just hoping to not have to be induced with this little girl.

I'm right there with you. 40w4d... I am 1 cm dilated, 50% effaced, -3 station. I have had less Braxton hicks today than I did yesterday. 😣 Just hoping things start moving along quicker soon!

Aw this makes me feel so much better! Actually at doctors office now getting a non stress test done. I am exactly 41 weeks according to doc but they are using my last menstrual period and I know for a fact I am only 40 +1.  When I mention it to my doc he just laughs and says it's more like a due month.

This pregnancy has been so easy but it's discouraging to see so many people pop their babies out at 39 weeks. Anyways, I have an induction scheduled for Monday but I am praying she comes this weekend.

I'll be 40 weeks on Sunday, but I've had the feeling that my little miss is pretty comfy where she is and probably won't make an appearance for a while yet.  Luckily, I've only started to get more uncomfortable in the past few days and haven't had weeks of that already, so I'm pretty happy to let her stay in for a while longer.  I'm trying to enjoy my sleep as much as possible in the meantime and go out for our last few dinner and movie dates before she arrives 😊

I'm 40 +6 I only dilated 1cm for the last 3 weeks ...I get induced Monday night I've had contractions here & there, even some only 5 mins apart but because I wasn't dilated & my water hadn't broke I was sent home. They schedule my induction at my dr appointment this past Wednesday. I'm a FTM & I'm so anxious to meet my little boy but I guess he's just extra comfy in there

I'll be 40 weeks Monday & lots of cramping & Braxton hicks that lead to nothing. I keep getting my hopes up & end up disappointed. 😔 I think I'd rather just have no signs at all at this point. We'll be discussing an induction date at my appointment Tuesday.

40 weeks in 3 days with third boy and nothing. My second was born a day before my due date hoping the same for this one.
