Fiber supplements to help constipation?

I'm so desperate right now. Has anyone taken fibre supplements to help you go to the bathroom? I've been eating more greens but haven't gone in 2 days and it's killing me!

I only had this problem once my entire pregnancy thank god But I just ate heaps of chilli and drank lemon water and it worked wonders!

I don't know about fiber supplements but I find that grapefruit and/or oranges really clears me out.

I hadn't gone "potty" in 3 days and I drank a bunch of apple juice and water and that helped me.

I take Metamucil capsules and that helps for me...I had really bad constipation before I started taking these.
