Does elective induction go against God's plan?

Question

My husband and I have been talking about inducing for convenience because we have two toddlers. I'm not sure we should because I feel as if I'm going against God. I believe He gave the knowledge to use for medical reasons but not sure if doing it for convenience is right.
Any insights into this will ne greatly appreciated.

I would say it is best for the baby to wait for it to come naturally, but I don't believe it is a sin.

I believe anything that is unnecessarily unnatural goes against what God wants. Please pray about this until you both agree on what you believe is right.

Realistically everything we do in life is 'interfering'. He gave us free will and as he says unforeseen circumstances overtake us all. So if it is best for you and your family do it. Nothing in the Bible objects to induction

I'm personally a big believer in doing what's natural for your body...your body will naturally know when it's ready to go into labor after all it was created by God himself! I do also undestand that it would be easier to plan it considering you have two small children and I do believe God would hold that against you! Lol he loves you no matter what!

I definitely have never seen this as a problem. Personally I don't want to induce labor medically because of the increased likelihood of interventions. But I don't believe God will shame you for it in any way. Everyone believes different though. Things some women believe bring shame on them, is something I would never consider shameful. Even being raised with a strict conservative penticostal father.
